6th World Conference on Floating Solutions

October 19 - 21, 2026 • Singapore EXPO

Floating solutions are rapidly moving from concept to reality, transforming the way we approach energy, food and climate resilience in our oceans. From renewable energy and offshore oil & gas to aquaculture, floating cities and coastal protection, these technologies are unlocking new possibilities for sustainable and resilient development. With these innovations shaping the future of our oceans, there is a growing need for a dedicated platform where experts, policymakers and industry leaders can exchange knowledge, collaborate and explore emerging opportunities. The World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS) 2026, hosted by Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine Singapore(TCOMS) and the Society of Floating Solutions Singapore (SFSS), provides such a platform.

The theme of WCFS 2026, “Marine Infrastructure for Energy, Food, Climate Resilience and Ocean Space Utilisation”, reflects the growing importance of integrated, sustainable solutions in the marine environment.

The conference brings together professionals from academia, industry, class societies and regulatory agencies to foster high-level dialogue and collaboration, advance innovation and help shape the next generation of floating infrastructure.

Message by Professor Choo Yoo Sang

WCFS 2026 Conference Chair

It is with great enthusiasm that I invite you to join us in Singapore for what promises to be an inspiring and impactful conference. The WCFS 2026 brings together leading experts, innovators and industry practitioners from around the globe to share insights and latest advances in  floating solutions – a field that is rapidly shaping the future  of sustainable infrastructure. Your engagement will contribute to vibrant discussions and knowledge sharing, enabling advancements that lead to practical and scalable solutions with global impact. Together, let’s shape the future of floating solutions.

Key topics: Floating Solutions for Sustainable Urban Development

Conference Fact Sheet

THE CONFERENCE:

WCFS is the annual flagship conference of the Society of Floating Solutions, Singapore (SFSS), which gathers hundreds of participants from academia, industry, public agencies and regulatory bodies from all around the world to engage in meaningful theoretical and practical exchanges.

Founded and owned by SFSS, the WCFS is built on a strong foundation provided by an interdisciplinary International Scientific Committee (ISC). The first edition of WCFS was held in Singapore in 2019, second in Rotterdam in 2020, third in Tokyo (2023), fourth in Hong Kong (2024) and fifth in Finland (2025).

Floating solutions are rapidly moving from concept to reality, transforming the way we approach energy, food and climate resilience in our oceans and inland waters.

From renewable energy and offshore oil & gas to aquaculture, floating cities and coastal protection, these technologies are unlocking new possibilities for sustainable and resilient development.
